Was recently hired to shoot for the USA headquarters of BrewDog, a Scotland based company known for their awesome beers and unique corporate culture (or anti corporate culture?). I photographed bar interiors, the brewery, and outdoor murals...but it was the food and drink photos that I took that day that really stood out. If you're ever in the area, their brewery and taproom are definitely a sight to see. My favorite beer there so far is the Hazy Jane.
Tried my hand at some headshots for my friend Chris (he's on the front page of the Pringles website), and it was really hard! Trying to make the somewhat bland, even light that headshots require is still difficult even if it looks easy peasy. Very interested in doing more work like this!
I had been trying to photograph Christina for almost a year since the first time we worked together. We made a plan to shoot at this abandoned city barn that snow plows were kept in, but upon arriving the area had been fenced off and we weren't really into getting arrested. We then went to Plan B, an empty hotel with red curtains....we were kicked out by a security guard. So feeling dejected and not knowing what to do, we came upon the Chinese Lantern Festival at the Ohio fairgrounds. We got in for free just by asking, and we tried to make something out of nothing. I'm really happy with how some of the photos came out!
