My friends Matt, Amy, Javi, and I were in Springfield looking for a lunch/beer spot and came across a spectacular building being torn down. We talked to the men working outside, who also happened to own the building, and they offered to take us in for a look. This building happens to be the Crowell-Collier Building, which was the largest publishing house in the United States at one point in time. Thanks, Rod for being generous with your time and showing us some of this amazing 1 million square foot structure. Find a well written history of this landmark here.
